Second International Peciatric Simulation Symposium and Workshops 2009, Florence, Italy, April 22-23, 2009

Welcome to Florence, Italy, April 22-23, 2009!
 
IPSSW2009 will build on the success of the First International Pediatric Simulation Symposium held this past February in Stockholm that included attendees from 12 countries and 8 pediatric subspecialties. The goals of these sessions are to convene and grow interdisciplinary and subspecialty groups to present, discuss and develop innovation, creativity and scientific productivity within the international pediatric simulation community.
 
Target audience includes those interested in state of the art and science of simulation-based education and training for a wide range of pediatric health care providers (physicians, nursing, allied health care, pre-hospital care).
Subspecialties include representation within obstetrics, neonatology, pediatric medicine, surgery, anesthesia, intensive care, cardiology and ECMO.
